Present Mayor Barbara Donovan, Trustees Carol Lane, Sandra Nicoletti, absent Trustees Carol Castillo, Christine Vitkun, also present Village Attorney Peter Sverd and three residents.

Minutes of the January 11, 2007 meeting were accepted as corrected on a motion by C. Lane, seconded by S. Nicoletti, Aye C. Lane, S. Nicoletti, B. Donovan, Nay 0.

Minutes of the January 28, 2007 meeting were accepted as corrected on a motion by C. Lane, seconded by S. Nicoletti, Aye C. Lane, S. Nicoletti, B. Donovan, Nay 0.

ZBA Appointment— a discussion on candidates ended with no decision.

Treasurers report—The Treasurer presented the treasurers report dated February 22, 2007. The Treasurers report was accepted as read on a motion by S. Nicoletti, seconded by C. Lane, Aye C. Lane, S. Nicoletti, B. Donovan, Nay 0.

Discussion on the Legal fees category ended with a decision to have the clerk research the bills for litigation vs legal advice.

Budget discussion was as follows;

Permit Fee income -- $ 6000.00

Engineer Fee income -- $1000.00

• Harbor and Moorings— J. Lane reported that there would be a meeting of the Harbor Commission on March 12, 2007.
• Broadwater—additional letters sent to state representatives.

Public Comments—none

Sandra Nicoletti—Trustee for Public Safety & VanBrunt Manor Beach

• Public Safety—one officer will be resigning his position.
• Emergency Preparedness—table top exercise still to be scheduled.

Public Comments—none

Attorney—affidavits for LIPA/Keyspan signed. Local Law 1 of 2007 reviewed.

OTHER BUSINESS

• Verizon—meeting of 2/13/2007, recapped by C. Lane, discussion followed.
